Organizations like the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada and Dark Sky International have designations for places, communities, and parks that are taking action to protect their dark skies. This includes responsible lighting, community outreach, and protecting nocturnal habitats. These things are priorities for us at Stargaze Nova Scotia and we’re currently in the process of having the site certified.
